CHC launch Disability House in McKellar

Chief Minister Andrew Barr was joined by new residents and their families at the opening of Disability House – new accommodation for people living with disability in McKellar, built and managed by CHC.

The new four-bedroom home has been ‘built to spec’ for residents, who want to live more independently in the McKellar community, with the accommodation featuring accessible design throughout.

Demand for the independent living housing is growing and over the next five years CHC is focusing on the delivery of more accommodation for people with disability Canberrans.

CHC is proud to feature affordable housing that supports independent living for people with disability, like Disability House, in our development projects.

Making a Christmas wish come true for ACT Domestic Violence Crisis Service

Making a Christmas wish come true for ACT Domestic Violence Crisis Service

This holiday season CHC is partnering with the ACT Domestic Violence Crisis Service (DVSC) to help deliver gifts to children in need.

Every child deserves to share in the fun and excitement of receiving a gift and CHC is committed to doing our part to support children and families in the ACT.

CHC will be hosting a wishing tree, so join with CHC staff and help the DVSC and local children by donating a gift.

From 7 November, Canberrans are welcome to drop off any non-perishable gifts appropriate for children off at our Bruce office, Unit 224 / 29 Braybrooke Street
Bruce ACT 2617, between 9am to 5pm on weekdays.

For further information contact (02) 6248 7716 .
